Position 1: Big Data Engineer
About the Role
As a member of the Data Team, you will work side by side with data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to develop novel systems, algorithms, and processes to handle massive amounts of data using Big Data technologies like Spark/PySpark and Hadoop, running on AWS EMR.
You’ll work in a small team but have the options to play with the latest tech, learn new skills, sharpen your existing ones, and make a difference in a rapidly growing company that values the employee experience of building software just as much as it values the output.
The platform is dedicated to helping B2B marketers find and engage the right people within the accounts that matter to them most. Big data pipelines are the backbone of targeting and dashboards that help our customers better understand the impact of advertising and glean critical business insights.
The impact you’ll make:
Tackle some of the most challenging problems in high-performance, scalable analytics
Develop and operate our data pipeline and infrastructure
Work closely with analysts and data scientists to develop data-driven systems and dashboards
Assist and mentor junior engineers on the team
Help drive the future of B2B marketing solutions
Skills you’ll bring:
A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience with scalable systems, large-scale data processing, and ETL pipelines
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Presto, Spark, or Storm, and SQL databases such as Postgres and Clickhouse
Experience with programming languages including Python, Java, and Go
Experience with AWS cloud services AWS S3, AWS Batch, AWS DynamoDB
Experience with Github, Slack, JIRA, and Confluence
Solid English level
Position 2 – Data Engineer – Cross Device team
About the Role
You’ll join our cross-device team to work with engineers, product managers, and designers to develop and ship the highest quality products in the market.
You will be working on algorithms that process large amounts of data and determine how various events are related to each other. As a member of the team, you will work side by side with data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to develop novel systems, algorithms, and processes to handle massive amounts of data using languages such as Python and Rust.
You’ll have the options to play with the latest tech, learn new skills, sharpen your existing ones, and make a difference in a rapidly growing company. You’ll also be able to enter into our bi-annual Engineering Hack Week to compete for a grand prize!
The impact you’ll make:
Develop and operate our data pipeline and manage data infrastructure
Work closely with analysts and data scientists to develop data-driven systems and dashboards
Take on some of the most significant problems in high-performance, scalable analytics
Available for after hour issues and the ability to be on call, but aim incessantly to reduce after hours incidents
Build for performance and reliability in an agile environment
Code responsibly: minimize tech debt, advocate for change or investment as needed, test and monitor everything
Mentor, teach, hire and share your knowledge to make our engineering team stronger
Skills you’ll bring:
5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
A solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design
Experience working with scalable systems, large-scale data processing, and ETL pipelines
Experience with (or willingness to master) our stack: Python, Rust, Postgres, Redis and various AWS systems
Solid English level
Position 3 – Data Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking data engineers to work on our backend systems. Our frameworks run over vast troves of data daily to produce output for a variety of consumers, including our real-time bidding (RTB) engines, machine learning pipelines, and real-time dashboards. Our infrastructure engineers have a passion for scalable, efficient technology, robustly operating at petabyte scales.
Our engineers are afforded significant autonomy. Infrastructure engineers design their systems as they see fit, own their code, enable analysts to dive deep with ease, and ensure our hungry machine learning algorithms and bidding systems are fed. Infrastructure engineers work on a variety of projects with data from disparate sources, but all at large scale. Our systems are built on top of AWS and employ cutting edge technologies
The impact you’ll make:
Create systems that monitor dataflow on a real-time basis
Design pipelines that generate predictive variety of signals for a multitude of tasks
Architect systems that crunch data and provide queryable interfaces for stakeholders
Ensure signals robustly make it to online consumers in real-time
Integrate with external data sources to feed into existing datasets
Engineer data formats that help answer analysis questions efficiently
Skills you’ll bring:
BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
3+ years experience with C, C++, Java, or other performant language
Experience with manipulating large datasets
Ability to architect scalable, high performance systems
Experience in distributed computing frameworks and paradigms
Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced engineering team
Solid English level
